Welcome to Blue Moon Walking Horses, LLC! We are a small Tennessee Walking Horse farm located in North-central Wisconsin. Here at the farm we are dedicated to producing quality Walking Horses that exhibit the great, loving dispositions, willing attitudes, and of course, the smooth "glide ride" that this wonderful breed is known for, plus a little extra!
We specialize in horses that are smaller in stature, ranging from 14.2 to 15.2 hands, have pretty, refined features, such as small heads, short hooked ears, short backs, and good even muscling. With the way these horses are put together, they have proven themselves to be extremely versatile, mastering techniques that are seen in dressage, reining, and competitive trail. They can do just as well as the breeds that usually dominate these sports. Plus, you get a smooth ride to boot! These horses are versatile enough for someone looking for their next quite trail horse or even their next top notch show horse, in any discipline! On top of all this, we also add a splash of color, specializing in paints and buckskins.
We stand several lovely stallions that we breed to our carefully handpicked mares. We offer services in breeding, sales, and consultations. By standing behind our product, we have had very happy and returning customers.

Rawhide is a beautiful buckskin stallion with chrome! His puppy-dog personality compliments his conformation nicely. Rawhide has a small, dishy head, short hooked ears, and a short back. Topaz is our palomino mare. She is very beautifully conformed and has such a loving personality. She loves to follow you around the pasture and get lots of hugs 'n' kisses! Her mellow and laid back nature has made her a wonderful mother. Her previous foals have been as mild mannered and sweet as she is. Magic is a very sweet mare with a smooth ground covering gait that she has now passed on to her offspring. Ferrari is the daughter of our stallion, Rawhide, and is out of an Ebony Masterpiece mare. She is as beautifully conformed as her sire and has inherited a great sense of humor from her dam. She is very symmetrically marked and her gait is as smooth as glass! Ferrari is very sweet and loves to go out and have loads of fun!

Athena is a stunningly beautiful sorrel tobiano mare. She is 14.2 hands, has a pretty head, good conformation, a super sweet disposition, and super smooth gaits. All her great qualities are backed up by her outstanding pedigree. Warrior is a five year old bay tobiano gelding. He is out of Northwoods Thunder Walker and Painted Kiowa Moon. Warrior has been trained using Natural Horsemanship techniques and is very soft, supple, and responsive. He has wonderful conformation to compliment is willing and loving disposition, silky smooth gaits, and flashy color. Warrior has never stepped out of his gaits even in the pasture. He does a rack and is eligible for Racking Horse papers. All this sweet boy need is hours, whether they are on the trail or in the show ring. This boy will definitely be and attention grabber. Atisha and Pete Peterson are the owners of a small Tennessee Walking Horse farm located in North Central Wisconsin. We are dedicated to retaining the smooth ride traits of the Tennessee Walking Horse and are striving to enhance the quality of the gait by matching horses with quality pedigrees. Our horses all are very loving with "puppy-dog" personalities to boot!
We currently stand a buckskin stallion (who's sire is a perlino), and own a palomino mare, a black and white mare, and a tri-colored mare.
