6 Community Blood Drive
Aspirus Medford Hospital will be partnering with the Blood Center of Northcentral Wisconsin to hold its community blood drive on the first Wednesday of every month. The event is held at the Medford Fire hall from 1:30-5:30 and walk-ins are welcome!, Medford Fire Hall.

18 Chequamegon Bird Club
The meeting will be at 7 pm in the Large Conference Room at the Frances L. Simek Memorial Library. The bird club meets the third Monday of every month and interested persons are invited to attend.

30 Miller Dam Lake Association Ice Fishing Contest
Miller Dam Lake Association will host an ice fishing contest from 9 AM to 3 PM on the Chequamegon Waters Flowage, Gilman, WI. Location is 16 miles north of Thorp on HWY 73 and 4 miles east on County G. Prizes awarded for 1st and 2nd places in 5 species of fish – adult and kids categories. Kids Fishing Contest (12 and under). Entry fee – 1 raffle ticket ($5.00 each or 3 for $10.00 or 10 for $20.00). Heated shelter. Food and refreshments available on the county boat landing. All proceeds are used for lake projects.

Annual Maple Festival will be held at the Taylor County Fairgrounds, intersections of State Highways 13 & 64 in Medford beginning at 8AM. Events include pancake breakfast, craft show, maple syrup judging, cooking/baking contest, youth photo contest, Red Wagon Parade, demonstrations and food throughout the day.
