About The Artist: Greg Scott began his career in freelance natural history photography shortly after moving to Eau Claire, Wisconsin in 1974. In 1995 Greg relocated to a wooded acreage bordered by the Chequamegon National Forest near Medford, Wisconsin, in Taylor County. Chequamegon National Forest and Taylor county provided the primary sources of inspiration for Greg’s photographic endeavors.
His work has been published internationally by various book, magazine and calendar producers, including: Bird Watcher’s Digest, Birder’s World, Country Journal, Nature Conservancy, National Wildlife, Outdoor America, Midwest Living, Natural History, Ranger Rick, Wisconsin Trails, Ortho Books, National Geographic Books, Smithsonian Books, and many others.
